Good mornin'! Here's what's been going on in my household since school started! Well, at the end of July John started working band camp, and then after that was over with he went into Band season. That came and gone, In August, school started, the day before school started, John the girl's and I went down to Clear Creek; to the Alumni Conference. It was great being there seeing old friend's! I also started substituting for the co. school system. So for 3 week's straight from Aug 24, until the middle of September; I was at one of the school's, every day as someone else. I prefer substitute teacher's aide, other than regular substitute teacher. I've been praying about seeking a full time position for a teacher's aide.
Well, at the end of September, the girl's and I went to Middlesboro to see the band at that festival. We stopped by Clear Creek to pick up a professor, and she went with me, to help me with the girl's while John worked with the band. While we were their, we saw some dear friend's that just happened to be down that weekend. It was a pleasant surprise. Well; that show we stayed before the award's because of going back to Clear Creek; and I wanted to stop and see some more friends.
October:
October's show was the first weekend of fall break and John's Mom and brother came to visit. Well, we went to London ky to the south laurel show. After Corbin marched, we went to town. I ended up falling real bad on my knee's and landed on my wrist's to break my fall. I think it was my pride that was hurt the most. I was wearing flip flop's and I think my toe caught on the side walk and caused me to fall. I was going into the Dollar Tree we went there to look around killing time. My knee was bruised real bad but, thankfully nothing was dammaged to badly. Fall break was relaxing. John's mom and brother were down the hole week and stayed with me and the girl's that Friday while John went with the band to regional's. The next weekend they went to State and won 10th place, I think. The girl's got to go to King's island, that weekend of the 18th and John and I went to Berea to visit some friends that moved.
November;
On November 4th for our evening service Clear Creek Baptist College's travling singer's came and sung for us for a special and Dr. Donnie Fox came and spoke on behalf of the school. he also did a mini sermon, that was wonderful! This thanksgiving I have a lot to be thankful for, Jesus for savig me, My husband and My daughter's. I'm not sure what the rest of 2007 will bring but; I pray that each of you who read this will be healthy durring this holiday season.

Thing's I'm greatful for
WOW! It's been a while since my last blog! A lot has happened since then. I've signed up for the County School System; as a substitute, and a sub teacher's aide. I seem to have liked the teacher's aide sub postition, better. I also like the fact that I am home with the girl's more; that I thought I'd be. I am ever so blessed to have a wonderful Job with possibilities.
My husband has been doing what he loves the last 8 week's or so. He's helping the high school band at Corbin with the marching band. Next to pastoring, I think that the band is his third passion, and he's getting to work this year with them. He worked last year but, not nearly like he did this year.
I'm greatful for our college voting on the man they did for a new College president. Dr. Fox will do wonderfully, in his new Job.
I was with my family last Saturday and we were in London Ky at the South Laurel Band festival, to watch Corbin do their show. Well, My family and I left after the show and decided to go to London. Well, I went into the Dollar Tree and the thing I'm greatful for is that the engeries I have, aren't drastic, as in nothing was broken, just very badly bruised. My right knee cap has a bruise almost completely around the knee cap. and my left wrist, where i used to break my fall, is healing and nothing was broken. I'm also greatful for My Mom.... She experienced a fall at work the other nite, and had similar engeries. Only she landed on her chest, so it's crushed, and several ribs are broken; and a gash in her left eyebrow. Anyway, She is in pain; but, i'm just greatful it wasn't too serious.
Well, I guess i'm done for now.... hope everyone has time to reflect and look back at the thing's they are thankful and greatful for....

School's back in full swing....
Well; The girl's are back in school, started last Tuesday. Last Monday; we went to Clear Creek to our Alumni conference. Had a blast. It was a good day all around. It was blazing hot but; a real good end of the summer event. We took the girl's by there school so they could visit there old teacher's too. John is working this band season. He's working Mon, Tuesday and thursday. Sometimes' on Friday pending on when there is a show. So; Next Friday he will be working. Today; he's off. and we're going to a picken tonight. I can't wait! The kid's are doing great about getting up for me this school year. I was dreading it, but Brianna get's right up on her own; fixes her own breakfast and every thing. Elizabeth still gives me trouble a little bit. Her allergies are in over time right now. So keep her in prayer. Well; It's almost time for the bus. It's going to be another busy school year with Choir practice! And eventually academic practice. I have signed up to be a pav volunteer meaning that I can go on school field trip's and ride the bus! I'm so excited. and the girl's are too. I found out last Wed. I'm on the sub list this year. So far, i've not been called in yet. and am job hunting for part time work after school hour's and John's band hour's. We're down to one vehicle and we've got to think about the girl's too. Well; I really need to go for now. Hope everyone who read's this has a good day!

UGH!
UGH! So, my husband is at wal mart, when I called him to have him get Elizabeth's Ice Cream, for her cake; and he's telling me of all the TV's he's seen, today. A little bit up to speed. We lost our big tv, when it stormed on my birthday; last year; to a lightning strike. Anyway; That was the worst birthday. If my stove was next to the wall, we would have lost our trailer, that we just moved into, while John was fixing dinner. We'll get a craving for just vegetables, and well; that's what I wanted... as he was fixing corn in our big stock pot, there all of a sudden were flames shooting up past the pot. On top of that happening, last summer; our Dryer went out whenever He was working Band camp one week; so that money went toward's a new dryer. First though; we lost our Refidgerator. It went out when we first moved in. Then our air; so we have had a lot going on since living here. I figured it was Satan trying to run us out, because there hasn't been a house on church property before. And before, people would stop in the church parking lot, and use the church's parking lot to party in and to park, to visit the people next door, who at that time were drug dealers. So anyway; Fastfoward to today. John and his Mom went out to get Elizabeth's birthday present; (It's Tuesday) and her cake and stuff and was telling me of the different TV's he's found. We've had to down grade back to my old 19 inch tv and vcr that I got outta my ankle settlement from 1991. This tv the only thing wrong with it, is the red is fuzzy in certain channel's. So.... It's infront of the big tv. Which is in the way. I feel like all this space in my living room is waisted now. Kinda like where we used to live at clear creek. Our appartment was so tiny. 2 bed room' 1 bath; a laundry room kitchen and dinning area, in one room; and living room. It's so small! So the point of all this frustration; is that he told me bout what he'd been drulling over!
My other frustraition; Why do Teen's have to be so rude???????
I took Brianna and Elizabeth to McDonald's last Saturday as a treat; for lunch for helping us get ready for bible school. Well; We'd planned on eating in the restaraunt; and we are eating in the play area. I know the play area rules are 12 and under, unless you are accompanied by an adult, or something like that; anyway.... As we were finishing our meal; there were these group of kids, that came in and were playin round with the equipment; and those hacky sac ball's kicking them round. Well, Elizabeth got up to throw her trash away that she was done with and this one girl just helped her self to her seat. She just slid right in; and with her back facing me. I was livid at this point! So, I finished my bite that I had left and told the girl's let's go because they ruined it for us! So we got the car washed, headed home and started working on the church because that was closing day of the bible school program. Then this week I've kept one of our younger teen's. It just depends on the groups of teen's I guess and how well be haved they are. anyway, I'll blog more later........

a little of this and that...
Hello!
It's been a few day's so I thought i'd end the evening, blogging. It's raining, out side, we've been lucky. It looked so bad earlier, this evening, at dusk... Well, it was bout 9 pm or 9:10 and the sky was so black, with this cold front coming in. i'm scared to death of storm's so, I freaked out, as usual! We were at church though when the first round of storm's had hit. we came home round 10:00 after My husband took everyone home. We just had one run tonight. It's been a great Bible School week!!! We've had no more than 34 enrolled, but the lowest number was last night with 21. Which is typical on a wed. night. We've had grandparent's that stayed to help, which was a blessing! The summer is almost over, it will be in 3 week's! So, I'm hoping to make the most of it!
Well, I guess i'll go for tonight, hope everyone who read's this, has a great night!!!

Let's try this again!
So, I can never get this computer stuff, right! I mean, I tried to get this blog thing going but apparently I had to get a Gmail account. O well, that's they way the ball bounces, I guess!!!
Let's start with a little bit about me! i'm a 34 yr old, soon to be 35 yr old house wife, mother of 2 and a pastor's wife, as well. My husband is a Baptist pastor at a small church in Corbin, Ky. We've been truely blessed with having such a loving church family with our first ever church. He's been here, will be 3 yr's in January. We just celebrated our anniversary; have been married 12 yr's and together for 13. We've had a lot going on the last 13 yr's! I miscarried our first baby in 95, and have our daughter, Brianna in 96, in 98, Elizabeth was born, and then in 02, tragety struck, with the death of our 4th daughter, Heather. We were blessed to have her for 10 and a half week's however, she was done, on March 27th. In between Elizabeth and heather, John accepted the call into Ministry in 2000, and tried to go to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, for 2 yr's afterward's and God kept telling him no. Well, in april of 02, JOhn decided again; to try to get in and finally was accepted, in July, and that's where we stand, today. We graduated; last year, He with a bachelor's and me with an associate degree. Anyway, That's prettty much it, for tonight. From time to time, i'll send more posting's of what's going on it our lives, but, for now it's late. Our church is hosting VBS, right now and so it's really late....
