Ups and downs!!!

This has been an emotional week! A 13 yr old boy who touched millions of lives lost his three yr battle with cancer! I feel so badly for the parents and his little brother! As a parent who's lost a child to illness, I understand first handedly how they may be feeling!
My aunt Dot was diagnosed about 6 weeks ago that she had a rare cancer in her brain and was fighting hard until last week. I sometimes wonder if she was fighting that long just to see me and the girls?! I'm grateful to get to see her tho.
In the last six weeks we have bern turned down and turned down about this mobile home. Lord please help us! I know you will provide, I have faith in you and know this is in your time and not ours... In your name I pray; amen.

It's been a while

Wow, I hadn't posted anything in a while.... A lots been going on lately, and have just been plain busy! Why is it we worry over things?! I'm so done with this not getting a loan! Lord, I come to you today; asking for your provision in this matter! Asking also for healing on Brianna!!! Please relief her pain and suffering she is dealing with. Bless Elizabeth lord, as she still grieves over suzzies death. Protect her and Brianna both. Bless John and I, help me to be more attentive in our marriage; keep the temptations away. Help him to trust me again knowing I'm not going to do the things that almost happened! I love you lord! In your name I pray! Amen!!!!

Live life to it's fullest..

Because you don't know what you got till it's gone!!! This summer as usual the girls went home with mamaw after they were out of school. Last tuesday another great nephew was welcomed into the world, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces. Susie, and elizabeth were at the hospital that morning to see the newist grandson for her. They and andrew went to the park for lunch; then on the way back susie pulled out infront of another person and got t boned. Suzie's injuries were beyond repair, for the paducah hospital so they sent her to vanderbilt. Elizabeth had minor injuries and a mild concusion. Suzie ended up dying on the same day ad her youngest grandchild's birthday. Elizabeth is having a rough time right now and i pray that it gets easier on her...this picture was taken after john got to her at vandy.

Am so greatful this week that my baby girl, ( well teenager, but still) wasn't hurt no more than she was on tuesday. John's sister and her were involved in an auto accident, and sadly, his sister died from the injuries, that she had recieved from it. Thank you Lord for being with her...

Girl's get to visit there cousin Layla!

The girl's got to see there cousin Layla yesterdat before going on over to mamaws! They seemed to have enjoyed each other's company! I can't wait to get to see all of my neices and nephews this summer!

Anxiety sucks!!!

Brianna goes tomorrow for a spinal tap, momma's nervous... Lord, i know that this is in your hands! Guide the doctor's tomorrow as they do this test, relax Brianna as she will have to be perfectly still for this test. I give this to you, Lord!!! Amen!!!

Anniversaries

I can't help but bring her up... I'm missing my baby girl so much right now. She's been gone from us for the last 10 year's. God took her home early on March 27th, 2002... She died in her sleep... she was 10 and a half week's old. Had several health issue's, as well as Digeorge syndrome. We found out that I had it as well. I know she's in a better place, under the feet of Jesus, and playing with her grandparent's aunt's and uncle's that have past. Lord please keep me and my family strong for tomorrow! Give me strength to get through the day.... Amen. Momma loves you, sweet baby girl!

Another job!!!

Well, i am now trying waitressing! I'm working at the waffle house here in Corbin, and liking it so far!

Church group came today, said basically in our bathroom the only tging that didn't need to be replaced was the sink... The tub was a plastic tub, and new toilet, from my understanding... They'll be back around the second week of April! I have GOT to clean this houss, ugh!!!! Help me Lord!!! Give me the strength to keep this house!!!

Can't believe my baby girl has been gone 10 yrs this year!!! Do i miss her?! Hell yes. Loosing a child is worst thing in the world no matter the age... Is she better off?! Definately! She's won that victory in Jesus... She's whole again and not suffering, teasing her aunts uncles, grandparents and who ever else she can find! I love u baby girl! May u rest in peace!!!!

Dreams...

Well,
Saturday night i woke up in a cold sweat, and realized i was dreaming about Grandpa! Such a great man!! I loved he and grandma so much! Its been 15 years since he's been gone, but the dream i had was so real, that it felt like he was right here! I'm guessing he was just reasuring me that Heather was ok, running around whole, and playing in heaven! 10 yrs, this year! Lord please get me through tge next few weeks!!! Please give me strengrh to pick my self up when I am at my lowest! Send me angel's like grandpa when i need to be reminded she's ok... Amen!

From tornado's to snow!

March has come in like a lion this year, two days last week, there were tornado's friday's being the worst!!! Praising God tonight as we were once yet again bounced off the Corbin bubble, granted most weren't as lucky. Watching the news one lady said her family wasn't all together when the storms hit...They were able to get back to each other, Amen! I am grateful for the school systems to start early releases when bad weathet hits, not just for snow, ice and flooding... We weren't hit however was scared just the same. Thank u Lord for getting us through the devistation of last weeks storm's!!!

Spring a liitle early?!

It's Monday, Feb. 26th, and we had the window's opened!!! It was so amazing to be able to ferl the fresh air that God has created for us!!! Im so glad we had such a mild winter, altho the bugs are going to be bad this year!!!
Pep band is winding down, finally. At least the home games r done with. Still have to wait for the games to be done, it just feels good not to have to stay out all day!!' well, i'm goin to close for now but will post more soon, promise!!!

It's been a while

I have decided to try blogging, again. The girl's are growing up
On me!!! Elizabeth is now 13 and Brianna 15. Both are very active in anything band related. I can't wait to see what God has in store for these two!
John and i will be married 17 year's in june, this year and have booked a cabin in may to Gatlinburg tenn. For a few day's. I'm excited! First vacation he and I have been on together with out any kids since our honeymoon!!! We have had our share of problems as well as any couple does... I am blessed to have him in my life and the man that God has made him into.
